Time Card Calculator Pro ("we", "us") is operated by Time Card Calculator Pro (operated by [Company name], UAE). This policy explains what data we handle when you use timecardcalculatorpro.com.
The short version
- Your hours and pay never leave your device. The time card calculator, clock-out calculator and PDF timesheets run entirely in your browser. We never receive employee names, punch times, rates or pay unless you subscribe to Time Card Pro and press Save. We never store generated files on our servers.
- Your current time card is saved in your own browser's local storage so you don't lose work. Press Clear or clear site data to remove it.
- We don't sell personal data and don't use advertising cookies. We use Google Analytics to count visits (with a consent banner in the EU/UK).
Data we do process
- Contact form: the name, email and message you send us, used only to reply. Kept up to 24 months.
- Server logs and rate limits: our server records standard request logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security, kept up to 30 days. Our application logs contain only counts and errors, never time card contents, names or form fields. Rate limiting uses salted IP hashes held in memory, cleared within 24 hours.
- Analytics: we use Google Analytics 4 to count visits, downloads and upgrades. See Google Analytics below.
- Time Card Pro saved data (opt-in): only what you choose to save: employee names, optional employee IDs and hourly rates, the times and notes on time cards you save (not generated files), and your company name, logo and accent colour. Limits: 100 employees, 300 time cards and 5 MB in total per licence. You can delete it all at any time with "Delete my saved data" on the Pro page, and it's deleted automatically 30 days after your subscription ends. If you save other people's data (your employees), you are responsible for having a lawful reason to do so; we process it only to provide the service to you.
- Payments: handled by Stripe, which receives your email, payment details and billing address under its own privacy policy. We receive your subscription status and a customer ID; we never see your full card number.
- Cookies: Pro uses one essential, signed cookie (
tcp_lic) to remember your licence in this browser. It isn't used for tracking.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC) to understand which pages and templates are useful. It records pages viewed, approximate location (country/city), device and browser type, and events such as "template downloaded", "time card calculated", "PDF downloaded", "upgrade clicked", "checkout started" and "purchase". We never send employee names, punch times, pay rates, pay amounts, file names or anything you type into the calculator. IP addresses are not stored by GA4. We don't use Google advertising features, and ad storage is disabled everywhere.
- EU/EEA, UK and Switzerland: analytics cookies are off until you click "Accept" in the cookie banner. If you decline, nothing is stored and Google only receives cookieless signals under Consent Mode.
- Other countries (including the US): analytics cookies (
_ga,_ga_*, up to 2 years) are set by default. - Opting out: clear this site's data to see the banner again (EU/UK), use your browser's tracking protection, or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
Advertising
Some content pages may show ads in the future. If that requires non-essential cookies, we'll ask for consent first and update this policy.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, including under the GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA and UAE PDPL where they apply. Email hello@timecardcalculatorpro.com.
Children
This service is intended for businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect data from children under 16.
