Estimates, not advice
Our calculators, templates, examples and articles help with record keeping. Results are estimates based on the times and rules you enter. They are not legal, tax or payroll advice. Employers are responsible for recording hours accurately, paying wages and overtime correctly and following the federal, state and local wage and hour laws that apply to them. Overtime rules vary by state and by employee; check with your state labor department or an advisor when in doubt.
Free tools
The time card calculator, clock-out time calculator and templates are free. Calculations and PDF files are made in your browser; we don't store them. Free PDFs include a small "Made with timecardcalculatorpro.com" line. We may change or discontinue free features at any time.
Licence to use templates
You may download, edit and use the templates in your own business as often as you like. You may not resell or republish the templates themselves without written permission. The minutes to decimal hours chart is licensed under CC BY 4.0.
Time Card Pro subscriptions
- Time Card Pro costs $6/mo or $49/yr (prices in USD; taxes may apply).
- New subscribers get a 7-day free trial. Cancel before it ends and you won't be charged.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; access continues to the end of the paid period.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Change or cancel with "Manage subscription" on the Pro page.
- After checkout you receive a licence key. Keep it private: anyone with the key can see your saved employees and time cards. We may revoke keys that are shared publicly.
- Time Card Pro includes saved employees, saved time cards, semi-monthly and monthly pay periods, Excel and CSV exports, a pay period summary and branded PDFs without the "Made with" line.
- Limits: up to 100 saved employees and 300 saved time cards per licence (5 MB in total).
Acceptable use
Don't use the service to falsify time records, to impersonate another business, or to break any law.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for wage, overtime or payroll errors based on our results. Always check totals before running payroll. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before a claim.

Microsoft and Excel are trademarks of Microsoft Corporation. Google Sheets is a trademark of Google LLC. Other product names are trademarks of their owners. We are not affiliated with them.
